Hack-a-Firewall-HOWTO
Did I mention that I had to help a customer hack into their firewall because they couldn't remember their password? Oh, I guess I didnt. Well, yesterday, I got a phone call from one of my customers (whom shall remain nameless) telling me that their ISP came over and changed the way their DSL connection works and needs to change the network configuration on their firewall. The IT manager at their location didn't know anything about managing their firewall that's why they called me! Unfortunately, neither of us knew the password to the box (they chose the password originally and I don't make a point of remembering customer's passwords unless they ask me to do so). It was 12:30PM, I had an interview with a reporter at 2:30 and they were 45 minutes away. Even if it only took me 10 minutes to fix the problem, I didn't feel comfortable with getting back so close to the interview. The only solution, lead a semi non-technical person with no Linux/Unix experience through the process of breaking into their box and resetting the root password. I won't go into the gory details, but we did it (it's actually quite easy since we had physical access to the box). What a positive moment!

Guys all you need to do is go to the internet options and speciafy a proxy server you need to connect to find an anynomous proxy listing make sure its anonymous and the schools fiultering software wont work, then you can go wherever u want and the school wont be able to track you remember it must me ananymous proxy and surf trough it by using tools,internetoption, connections then go to proxy settings and make sure the port nuber is right hope that helped

Quit spending useless time trying to chat or download songs, and actually learn. Who knows, maybe you'll be able to break into your invincible firewall once you've paid attention in class. Don't waste the time of an intelligent (and honorable) Computer security specialist. Judging by the way you asked these questions, it would take way too long to explain how to break into the school network anyway. If you are seriously interested in learning about computer security, and assessing the security of a network, then just read read read. You can never read enough. Buy recently published books on the matter, as searching the internet can become frustrating, and is actually threatening to your system. So wise up.

please help!! my school requires that we use our school email and not be allowed to use other email accounts such as aol or hotmail, so they have blocked all of them. every once in a while, aol will change something and it will work until the firewall is re-adjusted. i have also tried loopholes like aol.ca (canada) and others but they have now also blocked loopholes. i really need to check my aol mail, but it seems as if it impossible at school. please any help will be greatly appreciated. -Annabelle

I used to use googles chache of the site just to get started then it would let me, well they blocked that. Well hacking a school firewall is rather simple you see, you just need to know, what they havn't blocked off, and how to use that to your advantage. I was screwing around in computer class one day and was blocked from one of my favorite sites, so obviously I was pissed. So I began to think to myself, "how can I get around this damn peice of shit?" and then it came to me, if the firewall doesn't know that your coming from inside of that school, how does it know what to block, so I had to find a way to get around it.
Now with nothing on the school computer I'm using to get around firewalls (proggies, annoymousers, ect.) so I had to rely on websites to help me out. Many networking tools websites have well...tools to help you with things, so I found a site which makes the IP your using unidentifiable confusing the firewalls to let you through. www.leader.ru/secure was the final site I came to that ended up working after a series of Error and Trials. You go to Annoymousier (typo ^^) and switch it to whichever one works, the one I use is "Japanese Filter" and it routes me directly to the url. The loopholes in school firewalls are endless, they are so stupid; they overlook the simpilest things and its funny. My teacher began to talk about how we can't get to anything outside the school firewalls, I laughed at him, he is a ex-hacker for the LAPD. And for him not to know things like this is almost halarious. Anyways, there you go children, E-mail me if you have any further questions and I will try my best to answer them for you.

In our corporate network, the administration has limited us to only one pc that has internet access. It's ability to penetrate the firewall is due to its ip address. I have learned some small things and was successful in using a netbios trick to gain access to it's HD throught port 20. I was hoping I could gain access to the internet from my pc by using it's HD to run IE, but was unsuccessful. Is there another way I can gain access to that pc and use it's ip address to get past the firewall?

Another way for some of you to get past a firewall is for you to find an IP Address that your firewall allows to pass. Can your teacher get on the internet? If so, find out why. Does she enter another pw to get through it, or does it just allow her? Check her IP address (if it's static), then you can try using her IP. **Note: Only one ip address can be on the network at once, so casually just pull the cable from the back of her pc, and then when she finds that she cannot reach the network, let tech support come, you have until tech support gets there to change your ip and restart you pc. (no need to restart if it's xp).

LoL Amanda, you most not know nothing about computers, you don't need to hack the school's server to do that, all you need to know is about the internet explorer. What you do is open The internet explorer on your school's computer, and then goto "Tools", and then click on Internet Options or Preferences what ever there is, now in mine here it shows were it says Security and then you should know what to do there its pretty easy.

I don't think you can hack the aol parental controls,(if anyone knows how please post a message),it isn't on your computer, there is one main server with all the blocked websites on, and they don't allow you to use any other programs through the aol connection, the reason sites are blocked e.g. drugs info is because a computer checks the web, about 10 million sites a day for 'banned' data! The computer cannot find the difference between drugs info and drugs using info so they ban it all! I used to use the google language translator, it used to display everything including the pictures, but it now only contains the words and some are completely blocked. I think they are watching me now, because i do a search using google, i get to the third page and its restricted and so are the ones that i was on!! I have a firewall but i know it aint gonna stop them from gettin in! The only way to beat the aol parental controls is by downloading a key logger and getting the master screen name password, go in using the master screen name and change your screen name to Adult, BUT REMEMBER TO CHANGE IT BACK!!! the key logger will usually run without being visable, the one i have is password protected! Easily hackable but not by someone who dont know how to hack!

OK, my parents have me on AOL parental controls set at mature teen. I've figured out exactly what's wrong with everything i've tried, but im still looking for a way around it. Parental controls block all incoming data in all ports except for 80 and 5190 (i think thats the one for messaging programs). Is there any concievable way to unblock the 1080 port so i can get on kazaa? I've connected to proxy servers, but since it won't let incoming data in, that doesn't work. Help...

aight, here's the scenario: i really want to visit all those websites i can't at school and i act like most the ppl on this site and ask pros how to do it hte easy way. after a while i just learned about proxies and all that good (yet complicated) security stuff. after learning all of it i try and bust through the internet barriers at my school, but there's a big dilemma i need help with. in each classroom there's a physical proxy server in a locked box that takes about 6-30 computer's (clients) requests. i can't change the proxy settings unless i use a different browser than ie kuz of admin settings. i installed mozilla, but hten i realized that i can't use a proxy to get around the filtering because my only connection to the internet is through the proxy server in each room. i then proceeded to make an attempt on a teacher's (sub admin's) password so i can login with that to get past security. i downloaded a keylogger for windoze from home (windoze is used on the entire district's network) but when i put it on one of hte computer's it said that it was a virus and deleted it. im looking for a new way in, can anyone suggest something i can try out kuz im all out of ideas

port 80? thats http...... it does work for incoming connection though. and even if u did that a lot of schools have physical proxy servers, not remote ones, that physically filter all ur requests. that means there's no way to get passed that filtering, u just have to find a way to get stuff to not be black listed when u request it. and as for that ip, i pinged it and i got no return. dont even bother with it.
oops! by physical i meant local. of course all of them are physcial. heres a cool diagram to display the diff.

ok, now im pissed ! nobody is on tribes 2 renegades. now im bored so i'll write a small tutorial on how to get passed some proxy servers and make some of u noobs go away and hopefully make other n00bs learn something. intro: proxies a proxy is a server (it servers information when asked) that accepts requests (when u type in google.com into ur browser and hit enter, that's a request) from a bunch of different computers. a proxy is like a gateway to the internet. the point of a proxy is normally 3 things: for one, a proxy will filter ur requests, and 2, it will make requests to certain material faster. for example, if i goto google.com through a proxy, my request goes from my computer to the proxy, from the proxy to the internet, and back that same way. but when anything goes through the proxy, that informatoin that u requested stays in the proxy. so when somebody else wants to go to google.com, the proxy wont have to goto the internet to get the informatoin again, kuz it's already in the proxy. thirdly, all the requests are going to be from one ip address, the ip of the proxy, and since tons of ppl are going through a single proxy server, that one ip doesnt identify any one person. now, onto the "getting passed a proxy part" getting passed a proxy starting off, if there is a phsysical proxy server in ur classroom or workplace, ur fucking screwed and to my knowledge there's no way ur getting passed it. to find one in ur classroom, etc. look for a vented box. they dont want the server to overheat so they vent it, but they dont want it out in the open so they keep it in a box. it should look like a regular computer. if u dont have one, u might be able to get passed ur proxy. goto google.com and search for public proxies. find one and copy the ip and port down. goto run on the start bar and type in cmd then hit enter. a black window should come up. type in ping (ipaddress but without these paranthasese) where ipaddress is the ip of the proxy u found. if u were to ping vulcar's proxy, itd look like this: ping 216.18.16.121 . ping basically sends out small packets of info to the ip address and sees if they come back. if they come back, something is using the ip address, if they dont, that ip is empty. if u ping it and it sends info back, u can use that proxy, if not, get another. now, goto ie or mozilla (its way better ^_^) and goto tools => internet options=>connections=>lan settings, then click on the "use a proxy server for your lan" button and type in ur ip address and port. press the refresh button on the browser to see if the proxy is working. hopefully it is kuz im not writing the troubleshooting thing. if u have any questions, hesitate a lot before emailing me, but if u have a simple but big, question, email me @ ninjakickodoom@hotmail.com ppl are back on the renegades servers so im outta here. l8er ^_^

Hacking childlock can be done in a number of ways.
1) Find out the admin password. Sorry, I cant help you with this.
2) Go into the folder where childlock is located and delete it, not all the files will delete because they are being used by the computer. Then restart, with any luck, childlock should not start up.
3) If the above dosn't work in windows, try using DOS.
4) I've yet to try this, but you could try going into the start menu folder, located in the windows dir and get rid of the childlock shortcut, then restart, so childlock doesnt run anymore.

getting past firewalls is one of the easiest things to do..if you have the right programs. If the school has CITRIX, well then simply get the CITRIX desktop up and use the internet explorar twice and use the url that you would like to go to. then go to internet explorar a third time and type the url in again and it should work and you should break through the firewall. It worked for me so i hope it works for you. happy hacking :)
